HUDSON HAMILTON
The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing. -Zephaniah 3:17
My father passed away almost four years ago this May. Since then, I’ve grown to live with a piece of myself missing. Grief overtook me the first year; I had never known a loss that close to my heart. But, Jesus is good. I have learned so much through the loss of my father and I’m truly thankful for the loss, the tears and the unanswered questions that led me to dig deeper in my faith. This leads me to a post of celebration. The birth of my nephew, Hudson Hamilton. Hudson is truly a gift. He is the son of my brother and the only grandchild to carry on my father’s name. He is my father’s legacy.
“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope; The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

HUDSON HAMILTON — Hudson was born March 31, 2016. His sisters, Lily and Georgia have been the best little mamas, teachers, and cuddlers to him. He fills our family with so much joy and has been the most wonderful gift. Watching my brother have a son to call his own, is truly a joy to my heart. I know the bond they share will be an extension of my father’s love. Being there for his birth was a memory I will hold in my heart forever. Capturing his little life as he grows is one of my favortie things to do. These pictures were taken in his first few days of life. This boy is so loved!
